As we enter into a New Year, we also get to take a look, first hand, at the [X Shore 1](https://capstanyachts.com/x-shore-1/), a 21ft all electric dayboat with the [Power of Silence](https://xshore.com/us/). This model was officially launched in the US on September 1, 2022, however the first two boats have now landed and are here for us to see and touch. The X Shore 1 comes in two models, the open and the hard-top. The open version will be on display at the [Detroit Boat Show](https://boatmichigan.org/detroit-boat-show/), January 14-16, and January 19-22, 2023 at [Huntington Place](https://www.huntingtonplacedetroit.com/). The Hard-top version will be on display down at the [Houston AutoBoative Show](https://houstonboatshows.com/), January 25-29, 2023.   Very similar to X Shore’s Flagship vessel, the [Eelex8000](https://capstanyachts.com/xshore/), the X Shore 1 delivers technology unlike any other boat on the water today. Powered by an all electric 125kW motor and a 63kWh power cell, the [X Shore 1](https://xshore.com/us/xshore-1/) can reach speeds of over 30kts, with an impressive 0-20kt hole shot in less than 4 seconds! While running, you truly feel at home with nature, only hearing the sound of the water against the hull and the wind in your hair. The unique experience of running an all electric boat is simply unlike anything we have seen before on the water. I encourage everyone to explore the electric marine world and how together with technology and advancements, boating can become sustainable, yet still have all the thrills of speed, water sports, and family fun!
